Frequently Asked Questions

Is a Meet and Greet Required?

Yes, for overnight stays, we require a Meet and Greet to ensure we’re a good fit. For daycare stays, a Meet and Greet is not always required, but highly recommended. A phone call thoroughly discussing your pup’s background and temperament will determine if the Meet and Greet can be waived. However, during the first daycare drop off, a short assessment will be conducted before you’re able to leave your pup to ensure they do well with others.

All that is required to bring is your pup’s current food and any favorite treats. We ask you to not change their diet a week prior to their stay to ensure they have no tummy issues. Especially if your pup is sensitive to foods, or has any allergies, please bring any treats they’ll consume while they’re here, otherwise, with your consent, we’re happy to provide them the treats we have in-house! If your pup is an anxious baby, you’re welcome to bring a blanket or an item from home to help them smell something familiar while they’re with us. Everything else can be provided. We have all types of different bowls (slow feeders, ceramic, metal, plastic, shallow, deep), so let us know what your pup (or you) prefers. If your pup is crate-trained and you prefer them to sleep in a crate at night, we also have crates of all sizes available.

Absolutely! We love puppies and think this is the perfect place for your puppy to learn how to properly socialize and learn doggie manners. No age requirements, we just ask that your pup is up to date with all vaccines.

What requirements do you have?

Your pup must be up to date on vaccinations (at minimum Rabies, Bordatella, and DHPP). Your pup must not show any aggressive behaviors. Your pup does not have to be playful with others, but must be able to tolerate being around other pups (of various sizes, ages, temperaments and breeds).

We have no breed or size restrictions. As long as your pup is friendly and does well with other pups of different sizes, all friendly dogs are welcomed!

Male dogs must be neutered if they’ve reached the age of maturity (young puppies are ok). Also, neutered males that have “intact male” tendencies (constant mounting, marking, dominance behaviors, heightened reactivity) are not allowed to join. Female dogs aren’t required to be spayed, but they may not join while they are in their heat cycle.

What if my pup feels unwell before their scheduled stay?

Please do not bring your pup if they are showing any signs of illness, especially signs of coughing, sneezing, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, fever, suspicious rashes or nasal/eye discharge

We care for pups 24/7, however, our regular hours for daycare and preferred drop-off and pick-up times are between 7 am to 7 pm. For boarding stays, drop offs must be before 3 pm to have enough time to play, get comfortable and settle in before bedtime.

Every day is different. Activities and schedules change based on drop off and pick up times and depending on what friends are joining. Our usual structured schedule consists of breakfast, outdoor morning play, indoor play/hang out, lunch time/snack time, calm time/nap time, outdoor play, indoor play, daycare pick ups, dinner, calm play, relax, bedtime.

Do you accept dogs with anxiety or behavioral issues?

We love welcoming all pups into our home, but to ensure a safe and happy environment for all our furry guests, we accept dogs with anxiety or behavioral quirks on a case-by-case basis. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pups that excessively bark, whine, or cry. This creates a stressful environment for our other guests, and we always strive to create a peaceful, quiet, low-stress environment for all.

To make sure our home is the perfect fit for your pup, we highly encourage booking a trial day before any longer stays. Especially those pups that are anxious, fearful, or take time to warm up, trial days help us assess how they handle the environment and ensures their behavior is manageable for a home setting.
